To create an ad and have websites display them you first need to create an ad campaign for websites to subscribe to. Once the campaign is created it will be listed in the campaign list. A campaign can have multiple ads. However, the primary determining factor if an ad is shown is the campaigns attributes. Things like demographics, geography and schedule.

  • zoneId: A website can have multiple zones. And the form factor will look better with ads that have a certain size or format. The zoneID lets you specify a hot spot for displaying ads complete with specific sizing.
  • limit: Number of ads to show in space.
  • offset: If you are subscribed to a greater number of ads then what is in the limit. It will page the ads and the offset determins which page you wish to display.

The script tag below is the pixel script that indicates that a specified goal has been met on the advertisers website. This is primarily used in pay per action advertising campaigns. when running a pay per action campaign Its vitally important that this pixel be placed on the goals page. Be it a purchase success or sign up success this pixel is what registers traffic. If an affiliate starts to not see any pixel being fired then they may decide to unsubscribe from your campaign. In which case you will not get any traffic.
